I remain in contact with the Texas DPS on the latest developments regarding drug cartel violence and security concerns in Mexico. We are closely coordinating with @StateDept and @FBI as this situation unfolds.

I urge all Texans in Mexico to follow guidance of U.S. officials and ensure they are in contact with the U.S. Embassy. Those in areas impacted by violence should shelter in place until further notice. Details below 👇🏻
