Sept. 17, the trackers tag Uphold (12) and it spits out five payments of exactly 100 million XRP in 16 minutes. Half a billion coins, about $649 million, landing in five XRP Ledger addresses that didn't exist when the sun came up. Uphold's own wallet had woken all five hours earlier and dusted them with pocket change before the big bags dropped. As of 05:30 UTC on Sept. 18 — not one payment out. All 500 million still parked there, doing absolutely nothing.
▪️ Uphold (12) fed each fresh address a stepped 60–100 XRP first, then fired the 100M. That's a batch script running down a list, not five guys having five separate ideas.
▪️ All five trace back to Uphold (12). On XRP Ledger an address only exists once somebody funds it — and Uphold (12) itself got activated by Uphold (11) back in June 2025.
▪️ Balance before the five transfers: roughly 1.47 billion XRP. And this is round two this week — Sept. 14, a 145,634,500 XRP ($206M) stack walked out of Uphold (4) into an address seeded with 5 XRP and…
▪️ That Sept. 14 receiver then sat idle for four months. This week's five were created and filled inside six hours. Different tempo, same hand.
▪️ Not one order book got touched. Pure wallet-to-wallet — nothing sold, nothing bought, and XRP didn't even flinch.
▪️ The only other traffic hitting those five: a 0.00001 XRP dust ping from an address that sprayed 109 wallets in under two hours. Spam bot, not a buyer.

0.00001 XRPCold-storage reshuffle or a whale heading for the exit? The ledger won't tell you which — that's the whole point, it's built so you can't know. If it's a client cashing out, 500M XRP behind five brand-new keys is one signature away from being a market event. If it's Uphold, they just capped how much sits behind any single set of keys. The Fed hiked a quarter point a day earlier, first hike since Q3 2023, and XRP shrugged it off like it was nothing. Watch those five addresses. The first transfer out writes the confession.

🔮 Five wallets born the same day, funded by the same hand, and not one coin moved yet. Whoever blinks first tells you what this was.
