Today, we are announcing a major transition for Masa and the Gopher project.

Corporate Wind-Down

Masa and its subsidiaries are preparing to wind down.

This was not a decision made lightly. Given the current market conditions and our operational realities, continuing operations is not a viable way forward.

The Future of Subnet 42

We have sold Subnet 42 to a trusted partner, and full ownership has been transferred. Securing a strong, capable successor for the subnet was a top priority for us. Under the acquirer's leadership, SN42 is positioned for long-term health and continued development within the Bittensor ecosystem.

The Gopher Product

For our users, the Gopher product and its associated tools remain live and accessible for the time being. You can continue to use the application. Any changes to the operations of the Gopher product will be communicated at a future date.

Pre-Sale Participants

To those who participated in the pre-sale, you will receive a direct email from us confirming this announcement and the formal winding down of Masa.

Community Channels & Security

Effective immediately, our Telegram and Discord channels are moving to announcement-only mode.

During transitions like this, community safety is paramount.
