☁️ Pixel Weather will improve searching and saving new locations.

In the current state you have a '+' FAB on the home page to search for locations, however opening the weather page for any city will automatically save it to your 'saved locations'.

In the new app update v.1.0.20250106, Google is working to change this behavior. The “+” icon will be replaced with 🔍 , and opening weather information for any city won't automatically save it to the 'saved locations' list. Instead, a new “+” button will appear to the right of each search result, and when you open one of the cities, you'll be prompted to 'save this location' at the bottom of the screen.

This behavior is not available by default when upgrading to a new version and will probably be enabled in the coming months.
