Discerning Bible readers will spot the prosperity gospel in Scripture, yet they will not find it in Jesus’ words

They will find it in Satan’s words

“…the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; and saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me” (Matt. 4:8-9)

Prosperity theology is a coveteous, deceptive, and evil false teaching linked to the NAR and derived from the father of lies…

The prosperity gospel makes God a vending machine. It promises donors (seed faith gifts) material blessings. It promises its adherents health and wealth, but Jesus did not promise us health and wealth. He said we would suffer, be hated, and have trouble…

The prosperity “gospel” (another gospel per Gal. 1:8) is just a trick to fill the pockets of deceivers who masquerade as pastors. They live in mansions got by ungodly gain while claiming to serve the One who had no place to lay His head (Matt. 8:20)
