Trump says nothing bad will happen with AI because the top companies will “self-police.”

That came out of today’s White House “Super Intelligence” Luncheon. In the room: Elon Musk (xAI), Jensen Huang (Nvidia), Mark Zuckerberg (Meta), Sundar Pichai (Google), Satya Nadella (Microsoft), Jeff Bezos (Amazon), Dario Amodei (Anthropic), and Greg Brockman (OpenAI).

They signed a voluntary accord.

Trump called it “morally binding.” “Almost like a constitution.”

Then he said he’s seeing “tremendous self-policing, and they understand that they have to self-police.”

The same companies building it are now in charge of watching it.

Morally binding.
