- Control of prices and wages
- Massive industrial planning
- Nationalization and state control of entire economic sectors
- Demonization of war profiteers and capitalists as scapegoats
- Obsession with controlling the location of capital and production"

In addition to this:

- Gleichschaltung (coordination) of the press, media, art, and culture
- Prohibition of other parties
- Persecution and murder of opponents

"Replace a few words and you have exactly the same logic as with a Bernie Sanders or any other socialist who, in the name of the people, wants to "take back control" of the economy from the elites.

National Socialism was not "right" because it was authoritarian and racist. It was socialist in its economic structure and in its method: to identify a scapegoat, concentrate power, and plan.

Calling Hitler "right" has allowed the left to wash their hands of any economic totalitarianism for 80 years. And that is exactly what poisons the political debate to this day."
