Islands Dark is a Visual Studio Code theme featuring a deep dark interface with floating glass-like panels, rounded corners, and smooth animations. It includes warm syntax highlighting for multiple programming languages and uses IBM Plex Mono for the editor and FiraCode Nerd Font for the terminal. The theme can be installed via one-liner scripts on macOS, Linux, or Windows, or manually through cloning and configuration. Benefits include a visually refined coding environment with customizable border radius, spacing, and colors through CSS variables, allowing developers to personalize their workspace while maintaining a modern, polished aesthetic that reduces eye strain during extended coding sessions.
