📆 NFT-Usernames got a glow up with custom backgrounds!

Telegram Usernames, the NFT-collection that needs no introduction, just got a fresh update on Getgems. Custom backgrounds are now available for only 10 TON!

Whether you're into flexing, curating, or just need your username to look less default — now’s your moment to add some personality and make your listings pop.

🌟 Disclamer:

1. Feature works only on Getgems, off-chain. 🙏
2. All uploaded backgrounds are subject to moderation.
3. If your image doesn't pass moderation — no refunds. Use common sense and Google to access appropriate content.
4. Uploads featuring the mustached Austrian painter can be removed at any time if a valid complaint is filed.

Because default is so 2024!

🐈‍⬛ Trading NFT Gifts: On-Chain vs Off-Chain

Telegram Gifts have already hit over $200M in Market Cap, and Plush Pepes have gone from humble $30 frogs to $16,000+ icons. Time to get serious about how you trade them — safely and profitably. There are two main ways to do it:

💎 On-chain — via blockchain (on Getgems). You have full control over your NFTs and TON — they stay in your wallet. Transparency and security are guaranteed by the blockchain. And most importantly — 0% fees: Sell a Pepe for 10k TON? You keep all 10k TON.

✉ Off-chain — through private Telegram bots not connected to the blockchain. Your NFTs are transferred to a middleman and are no longer in your wallet. Same with the TON you earn. It all runs on trust — until the first rug pull. Plus fees (~10%): sell for 10k TON and only get 9k TON, the rest goes to the platform.

NFT Gifts are officially Tier 1 assets. Time to trade like it: safely and profitably.
On Getgems: Gifts with 0% fees, 100% yours.

🎁 Love a good stat from the Chief Gift Officer @Durov.

Imagine, all that and with 0% fees on Getgems.
Sell Pepe for $14,400 — get $14,400.
No cuts. No marketplace fees. 100% profits. 😋

Updates from Getgems

Getgems — the largest NFT marketplace on TON by number of transactions, has recently rolled out several user-centric updates to drive NFT activity:

- 0% trading fees for Telegram Gifts and other Telegram-linked collections — making secure, and fully on-chain option for trading NFTs tied to Telegram identity.

- Third-level domains, allowing users to create and monetize collections via TON DNS.

- On-chain announcements and comments, enabling engagement directly with specific NFTs and collections — all on the blockchain.

🙏 How to sell subdomains on Getgems?

TON DNS domain holders can now launch their own collections of third-level domains — and sell them directly on Getgems.🛒

🌐 How it works:
1. You transfer your TON DNS domain to Getgems and pay a one-time setup fee of 10 TON.
This lets us securely store the domain and deploy a smart contract for subdomain minting, and guarantee future subdomain holders that the creator can’t change their mind later.

Important: Once you transfer the domain to the smart contract, it's irreversible.

2. A smart contract is launched, which will generate third-level domains.
3. As the owner, you set the pricing, run your own mini marketplace, and earn royalties from every mint and transaction.

If your domain was already linked to your Getgems profile — don’t worry, your short link will keep working just fine.

The first subdomain collection has already been launched with the Lost Dogs project based on the woof.ton domain.
Check it out to see how it works: getgems.io/woof-domains — and maybe launch something of your own for your project or community. LFG!

🙏 What are subdomains and why should you care?

Subdomains are unique third-level addresses like goodboy.woof.ton or pasha.woof.ton, created on top of a second-level domain like woof.ton. 🐶

For TON DNS domain holders, it’s a way to earn more than just flipping the main name. Now you can launch your own mini-subdomain-collection directly on Getgems and earn royalties from every mint and transaction.

For projects and communities, it’s an easy way to build a recognizable ecosystem. Games, DAOs, creators — instead of launching an NFT collection, you can roll with subdomains as well. Think member.tyler.ton, gavkus.woof.ton, or pepe.prime.ton.

For collectors, it’s just more fun and more memes. Wanna flex with ilove.pizza.ton or moon.lambo.ton? Go for it. 🤪

Subdomains work just like TON DNS — linked to wallets, transferable, and fully on-chain.

We’ll share more on pricing, launch details, and how-tos in the next post. In the meantime, drop your TON DNS stories in the comments.

🧠 What’s stronger: the human nervous system… or a comment left under an NFT?

Introducing a brand new feature — Announcements & Comments on Getgems! 🍿

Now, in Telegram Numbers and Usernames collections, you can leave public announcements.
Wanna drop an offer, bargain a bit, or shamelessly promote your TG number? Go for it. 10 TON — and your announcement is seen across the whole collection.

For all other collections — say hello to Comments on NFT pages.
Just 0.5 TON to share a hot take, throw a compliment, launch a contest, or simply leave your mark on-chain — all right on the NFT page.

How it works:
1. Write your message
2. Sign the transaction
3. It goes through moderation

❌ If it’s lame, offensive, or illegal — it’s rejected and no refunds.
✅ If it’s good — it’s published and lives forever on the blockchain

Every NFT now has its own lil’ feed. Comment, flex, create ✍️

🖼 The Builders, The Dreamers, The Believers: 3 Years of Getgems

April 27, 2022 — Getgems hit TON mainnet.
From a cheeky lil website to the Home of TON NFTs. 💪

We built through bulls.
We built through bears.
