🇪🇬 - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah AlSisi has announced that his term is to end in 2030, after ruling Egypt for 16 years, and plans a 30-month leadership training programme at the Egyptian Military Academy for PhD holders.
Graduates would be prepared for top roles including the presidency, ministries, governorates and parliament. A parliamentary-led committee would set selection criteria and draft the legislation. Sisi stressed the constitution will not be amended and the 2030 end of his term is final.
