๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ทโก๏ธ โ Senior Pentagon officials intend to delay releasing an internal investigation into the U.S. airstrike on Shajarah Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab, southern Iran, until after the November midterm elections, according to Bloomberg.
The strike, carried out on the first day of the war, killed more than 150 people, including at least 123 children.
Investigators identified flawed intelligence, outdated satellite imagery and excessive reliance on artificial intelligence as contributing factors.
Although the report has been nearly complete for months, advisers to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth have communicated plans to postpone its publication.
