⚡️🇺🇸 – The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating five of the largest TV networks in the country, Fox News, CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC, due to possible violations of antitrust laws.
All five outlets boycotted the White House pool coverage following Trump's ban on CNN, as well as MS NOW and POLITICO, due to perceived negative coverage of the White House. The Trump administration is now targeting all those outlets.
The top DOJ spokesperson said "group boycotts among commercial competitors can violate the Sherman Act", and said the Department is just "investigating to determine whether these news organizations have violated the antitrust laws.”
