⚡️🇵🇰🇮🇷🇾🇪 – The Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said Iran has suggested 'engaging' Ansarullah (the Houthis) politically following strikes against Saudi Arabia, an idea that will be discussed during emergency talks in Riyadh next week, Reuters reports.

Dar said Iran has distanced itself from its Yemeni and Iraqi proxies, and that top decision makers like Pezeshkian and Araqchi "want the matter concluded."

Iran has made no solid commitment to engage the Houthis diplomatically, and Dar said it's so far only "brainstorming between two foreign ministers", suggesting Araqchi is deeply involved in the negotiations.
