🇬🇧🇺🇸⁉️ - A major security operation is underway at RAF Fairford after Gloucestershire Police arrested several men on suspicion of offences under the Explosives Act. The Army’s specialist Explosive Ordnance Disposal team is examining multiple vehicles, homes in the nearby Whelford area have been evacuated, and a police cordon remains in place. Authorities say the incident is currently believed to be contained. Counter-terrorism police are now leading the investigation.
RAF Fairford is currently hosting U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer strategic bombers and has been used by U.S. forces during operations against Iranian targets.
