⚡️🇺🇸🇸🇩 – The U.S. is withholding an entry visa for Sudanese de-facto leader and chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, who is scheduled to appear before the UN General Assembly.
The U.S. has sanctioned Burhan for crimes like attacks on civilians, extrajudicial executions and blocking humanitarian aid. The current visa withholding is reportedly due to Washington conditioning his visit to agreeing on a 90-day ceasefire in Sudan.
