Speaking to ROTC cadets with a straight face, Pete Hegseth said US military strikes in the Strait of Hormuz – part of a war the US started – were an example of the “peace-making business” the US military supposedly engages in.

And yes, the man who styles himself as a ‘secretary of war’ insists that the US military should win the Nobel Peace Prize every single year.
