🇮🇱🇸🇾 Israel's Syrian land grab: bulldozers, drones, and heavy machine guns

Israeli forces have carried out 20 incursions in Deraa and Quneitra in just the past week, conducting land-clearing operations, erecting checkpoints, and installing surveillance cameras, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports.

Israeli troops also entered populated areas, firing heavy machine guns toward agricultural lands.

The strategic picture:

➡️ Israel is expanding its occupation of Syrian territory — including the Golan Heights, a UN buffer zone, and Mount Hermon — while bombing Syria's air defenses

➡️ Netanyahu has boasted that he helped install Syrian terrorist-turned-President Ahmed al-Sharaa (former HTS leader Abu Mohammad al-Julani) in power in Damascus

➡️ Sharaa's forces refuse to confront Israeli incursions — instead targeting Alawite and Druze minorities, including major massacres in March and July

SOHR warned that Israel is "creating new realities on the ground and gradually altering the border strip" in the absence of any international measures to deter violations and respect Syrian sovereignty.

Israel is occupying Syria to control its water resources and expand Greater Israel — and Damascus is letting it happen.
