🚨 🇮🇱 Israel facing defeat after defeat in Gaza, Lebanon, Iran - former PM
Concrete results, “not the number of grandiose declarations,” will determine the outcome of Israel’s multifront wars, and so far the results are anything but comforting, says former Israeli prime minister Naftali Bennett.
🌏 Gaza? Netanyahu “declared victory,” but there are 30k fighters, whom Bennett calls “terrorists,” still entrenched despite two years of brutal fighting and the leveling of over 80% of all structures in the strip.
🌏 Lebanon? “Hezbollah has recovered, right up to Kiryat Shmona,” an Israeli border settlement reduced to a ghost town by years of fighting
🌏 Iran? Ballistic missile program intact. 460 kg of enriched uranium intact (although Bennett doesn’t mention Iran’s long-standing anti-nuke fatwa)
Bennett’s criticisms are valid, but also curious. He’s the same politician who recently labeled Turkey “the new Iran” and claimed Israel will have to ‘deal with’ it next.
Whether it’s Bennett, Benny Gantz, or Yair Lapid, none of Israel’s main opposition politicians are calling for de-escalation, only a new way of prosecuting Netanyahu’s multifront war.
