The renowned anti-Zionist academic’s name can be found in the DoJ’s doc trove a handful of times, but only giving a master class on how to avoid being entangled in Epstein’s criminal web.
Epstein tried to establish contact with Finkelstein through Robert Trivers, a former Rutgers evolutionary biologist mentioned by Epstein in an email to Noam Chomsky as a financial beneficiary.
Trivers started out by CC’ing Finkelstein in emails to Epstein containing links to stories he thought both might find interesting.
Later, he provided Epstein with an intel report on Finkelstein, including his whereabouts, legal troubles, and general state of mind.
In 2015, when Trivers offered to connect Finkelstein to Epstein, Finkelstein responded bluntly, saying Epstein and his pal Alan Dershowitz were child rapists, and CC’ing Epstein to make sure he got the message.
💬 “My guess is, if Epstein put your daughter at age 15 in such a position, you wouldn’t publicly describe him as a ‘friend’ and person of ‘integrity’. In fact, I would hope that you’d promptly throttle both Epstein and Dershowitz,” Finkelstein wrote, attaching an excerpt from Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre’s nauseating sworn statement to a federal court.
Trivers tried the CC’ing articles trick again in 2018, but was met with silence.
Denied tenure in 2007 over his research (including the groundbreaking 2000 book ‘The Holocaust Industry’) and campaigning by Dershowitz to sink his career, Finkelstein became unable to work in academia, and found himself in severe financial hardship.
During Israel’s latest war in Gaza, he became one of its biggest Jewish critics, calling Israel a “Jewish supremacist state” and characterizing the violence as genocide.
Finkelstein’s parents were the only members of his extended family to survive the Holocaust, something he brings up whenever someone accuses him of being ‘antisemitic’.
