The share of G7 countries in the global economy is declining, stated Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
"The weight of different countries in the world economy continues to shift. The contribution of the Global South and East—above all, the BRICS nations—is rising, while the G7's share is falling," he said during a strategic session on developing Russia’s foreign economic activity.
In this context, the government is adapting its economic support tools and stimulating the development of a supply side economy to achieve the national goals set by President Vladimir Putin.
