This article delves into the evolution of the African track in BRICS, tracing its journey from outreach efforts and BRICS+ formats to the continent's evolving representation at the subregional level following the 2024 expansion.
The authors, Daria Zelenova, Head of the Centre for African Strategy in BRICS at the Institute for African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Tamara Andreeva, Junior Researcher at the same centre, explore the challenges related to Africa’s deeper integration with #BRICS.
