Tajikistan signals readiness for digital and industrial cooperation with BRICS

Tajikistan has expressed its readiness to actively engage in digital and industrial cooperation within the #BRICS framework. The announcement was made by Khurshed Mirzo, Director of the Republic’s Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies (AIDT), during the BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Forum held in Xiamen, China on September 16–17.

Mirzo emphasised the critical role of international collaboration in building sustainable digital ecosystems, adopting advanced technologies, and attracting foreign investment. He highlighted cross-border digital connectivity, public-private partnerships, and innovation as key pillars for industrial growth.

The BRICS forum, jointly organised by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the People’s Government of Fujian Province, aimed to explore the potential of global cooperation for inclusive and sustainable industrial development.
