CERE Observatory, a new expert platform dedicated to the study of education across the 🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊 nations
We are thrilled to announce that HSE University has launched 🚀 the CERE Observatory on Education—an international research platform poised to revolutionise the exploration of educational systems within emerging economies!
⭐ The project's mission is to foster a culture of comparative research in education that respects national contexts while uniting experts who possess a profound understanding of the unique characteristics and challenges faced by developing nations.
Key areas of focus include:
➖ Analytics: Drafting policy briefs, infographics, and comparative reviews based on verified statistical data.
➖ Research: Conducting comparative studies in education, drawing from national data and local expertise.
➖ Communication: Organising international seminars and special events to discuss key trends and share findings.
➖ Community: Building a network of experts, facilitating communication, and cultivating a cohesive identity within the research community.
CERE Observatory on Education relies on verified data sources, engages leading national experts, and employs an interdisciplinary approach. Its launch marks a significant advancement in consolidating educational research in developing economies and integrating it into the global agenda.
“We firmly believe that global knowledge thrives when anchored in local realities. With CERE, the diversity of perspectives serves as the foundation for comparative education,” shared Vera Maltseva, Co-Founder of CERE, Professor and Director of the Centre for Vocational Education and Skills Development at HSE University.
📎 The inaugural CERE seminar will take place on August 28 at 3pm Moscow time, focusing on TVET education in Russia.
