💥 A DEX RESEARCH EXAMPLE
Imagine a token appears in a trending list. Its price has risen. A social post calls it “early.”
That is an invitation to investigate, not a complete assessment.
The missing pieces might be:
• Liquidity: what supports trading in the pool?
• Distribution: who holds the supply?
• Contract behavior: which permissions or restrictions need inspection?
Before joining those pieces, check that they refer to the same token, network and observation period. A familiar ticker alone is not enough to match evidence.
GEM Hunter groups token research around the asset. Data may still be missing or stale; a gap should remain visible rather than becoming an assumption.
For the next token you investigate, write down the unanswered question before opening another feed.
