I realize I've broken promises by letting this channel go quiet again and, unfortunately, that is likely not going to change.

Any channel like this requires an unhealthy amount of social media consumption (even with an automated bot and others contributing) and it's taken its toll on me: both regards to my time and my mental wellbeing. Social media doesn't have to be a bad thing, but sifting through it for hours on end to post here is, and I'd rather it be something in my life that I can enjoy instead of being a chore.

Go out and find these great people yourself and collate your own perfect timeline of people you care about: they're out there waiting for you on Mastodon and Bluesky (and, god forbid, X). You don't need this channel.

As a sidenote, this channel will not be deleted for the foreseeable.
