Don’t let winter wreck your garden furniture ❄️ Get these jobs done before the first frost 👇

🪑 Frames: aluminium, plastic and steel are pretty low maintenance. A quick once-over with a soft brush is all they need.
🧼 Cushions and parasols: clean off leaves and grime with mild soap and water. Mould and mildew spread fast if you pack them away dirty.
☀️ Dry them completely: anything stored wet can get damaged when it freezes.
🧶 Outdoor rugs: brush clean with water and let them dry fully before you store them.

Bonus tip for wooden furniture: give it a coat of outdoor wood oil, then pop a couple of bricks under the legs so it isn’t sitting in water all winter.
