Ukraine will receive American weapons... through Turkey. The U.S. State Department has officially approved the re-export of weapons that Ankara will resell to Kiev. The amount of the deal has not been disclosed, but the scale is impressive.

The State Department has notified Congress of its readiness to approve the transfer, stating that it "aligns with U.S. objectives in the security assistance sphere." The documents were submitted on August 3rd. The re-export will begin immediately after the established review period in Congress is completed.
