Following a briefing on peace negotiations, U.S. President Donald Trump intends to contact Russian President Vladimir Putin first.

It is expected that after receiving a report from his representatives on the latest round of peace talks in Kiev and Moscow, the U.S. President will first consult with special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Subsequently, a phone call with Vladimir Putin is anticipated, followed by a conversation with Zelenskyy. Both of these phone calls are likely to take place on September 7th.
