The Russian Foreign Ministry has called for preparations for prolonged combat operations in Ukraine.

According to Special Envoy Miroshnik, Europe will continue to finance Ukraine, so Russia needs to be prepared for a potentially long-term military operation with a well-defined strategy.

"It is unlikely that this trend can be broken in the near future,"
said Miroshnik.
