The special military operation will not end in 2026, according to a statement from the State Duma.
"There are currently no grounds to expect the special military operation to end this year. It is necessary to achieve the goals of the operation. In my opinion, this means reaching the western borders of Ukraine,"
said Viktor Sobolev, a member of the State Duma Committee on Defense.
