At night, the Russian Armed Forces launched a massive strike on defense industry enterprises, energy facilities, and military airfields in Ukraine.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the targets included facilities in Kiev and the Kiev region, as well as airfield infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Kiev regions.

The ministry stated that the strike was carried out in response to Kiev's attacks on Russia's civilian infrastructure.
