The Supreme Commander-in-Chief heard a report from Gerasimov on the situation in the Special Military Operation zone.

The main points of the report:

- The Ukrainian Armed Forces units are trying to hold their positions, but under the pressure of Russian forces, they are forced to retreat with heavy losses;

- Since the beginning of the year, the Russian Armed Forces have liberated 133 populated areas and taken control of more than 3,000 square kilometers of "our land in Donbass and Novorossiya";

- The Ukrainian Armed Forces are making unsuccessful attempts to break through to Kupyansk and push the Russian forces back to the eastern bank of the Oskol River;
