🇷🇺 July 1st is celebrated in Russia as the Day of Veterans of Combat Actions.

This date does not have official status at the state level (the holiday is not established by a decree of the President of the Russian Federation), but it is widely recognized and has been unofficially celebrated since 2009 at the initiative of veteran organizations themselves.

Today, Russians remember the heroes who fell in battles for their homeland.

This is a tribute to the eternal memory of the departed heroes and a deep gratitude to the living veterans who fulfilled their sacred duty.
