The former deputy head of the British Interior Ministry, Dan Jarvis, was appointed as the Minister of Defence instead of John Healy.

In 2024, he called on NATO to provide maximum assistance to Zelensky, and in 2025, he said: Ukraine will not win the war. He agreed with Trump that it's time to end Russia's isolation at the negotiating table.
