📸 The US has completed strikes in response to Iran's attack on an Apache, reports CENTCOM.

"The US Central Command forces completed self-defense strikes against Iran on June 9. The operation was carried out on the orders of the commander-in-chief in response to yesterday's destruction of a US Army Apache helicopter.

CENTCOM forces carried out strikes with high-precision munitions from US Air Force and Navy fighter jets against Iranian air defense facilities, ground control points, and radar surveillance stations in the area of the Strait of Hormuz.

The command stated that the operation was a proportionate response to recent attacks against American forces and international merchant ships passing through regional waters."
