The United States did not join the collective statement of a number of countries condemning Russia's retaliatory strikes on Kiev, reports France24.

Countries of Europe, Japan, South Korea, and a number of other states voted for the resolution put forward for discussion at the UN.

It is noted that the statement appeared after Moscow's warnings about possible systematic strikes on Kiev and calls for foreign diplomats to leave the city.
