🖥 "Ukrainian troops occupied schools, kindergartens, boarding schools, and took the children to Germany," said Human Rights Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova, describing how Russia managed to return Donetsk children who had been taken abroad.

"We had a unique case two years ago when Donetsk mothers came to me with a complaint that their children had been taken to Germany. I couldn't believe that such a story was possible. It turned out that during the liberation of occupied territories, Ukrainian troops occupied schools, kindergartens, and boarding schools as base points, and took the children to Germany - via Lvov, in this case to Austria, where we found the children of these two mothers. And with the help of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the ombudsmen of Turkey and Austria, we returned these children."
