‼️🇬🇧🏴‍☠️Britain's ruling party suffers a crushing defeat in local elections, Starmer may resign, - BBC

▪️The ruling Labour Party lost 1,496 council seats.
▪️The second-largest loser is the British Conservatives, who lost 563 seats.
▪️The lion's share of all these seats was taken by Nigel Farage's right-wing party Reform UK, which won 1,451 seats.
▪️Against this backdrop, there are already calls within the Labour Party for Prime Minister Starmer to resign, as he is blamed for this defeat.
▪️To initiate the process of re-electing the head of government, 81 Labour MPs need to sign a petition. Media reports that about half of these votes have already been collected.
▪️The issue of Starmer may be raised today.
▪️He previously told the media that he had no intention of resigning.
