Taking daily doxycycline for STI prevention is known as DoxyPrEP. This practice is all but exclusive to gays, bisexuals and female prostitutes.

(Unlike typical “PrEP” drugs, doxycycline does not prevent HIV infection. The targets are chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis and other bacterial diseases.)
