Hello folks 🌊,

Let's talk about Cadence, the tailor-made smart contract programming language that powers Flow.

Cadence builds on foundations of success, being heavily inspired by concepts also found in Rust and Swift. Developers will feel comfortable writing Cadence code quickly, letting teams ship applications faster than ever.

Even better, Cadence is battle-tested at scale as the backbone of NBA Top Shot, one of the fastest growing blockchain applications with over 1M registrations.

Beyond that, thousands of users interact daily with Cadence-powered applications like marketplaces, games and exchanges.

The era of resource-oriented programming is just getting started.
