Introducing Forte: The Next Era For Flow
Flow’s upcoming network upgrade, Forte, brings composability and automation natively onchain through two powerful new primitives: Actions and Agents.
Actions are protocol-native operations (like swap, source, sink, flasher, and oracle) that can be composed together to build workflows across protocols. No glue code, no rewrites—just composable logic in a single atomic transaction.
Agents are onchain resources that live inside a Flow account. They execute scheduled transactions or respond to triggers, enabling fully automated, self-owned behavior with no backend or relayers.
Forte is coming to Flow:
Testnet goes live on September 17.
Mainnet launches on October 22.
Launching alongside Forte are a series of apps and upgrades by current and new builders on Flow designed to take advantage of the latest functionality – and bring a new generation of apps, games, and the digital assets that power them to Flow.
