Masterclass on Creative VR with Milo 2001 — May 8th!

Theme: Virtual Reality as a Space for Storytelling and Imagination 🌌

On May 8th, Milo 2001 — a mixed media artist, immersive filmmaker and creative art curator from South America — will host a free masterclass all about how virtual reality can become a tool for creativity, emotion, and storytelling. This is a space to get curious, inspired, and maybe a little bit mind-blown.

Together with the audience, Milo will explore how VR is much more than just a technology — it’s a new language for building emotional worlds and nonlinear stories. From interactive theatre and immersive art to educational spaces and narrative-driven games, Milo will share a wide range of examples where virtual reality becomes a place for human connection, experimentation, and imagination.

We’ll talk about why immersion and presence matter, and how they shape the way we experience stories from within. Milo will reflect on creative projects that blur the line between fiction and memory, offering a glimpse into how artists are building entire dreamscapes using VR tools. We’ll also look at the growing role of empathy and embodiment in virtual storytelling — how stepping into someone else's perspective can change not just what we see, but what we feel.
