Ukraine Strikes Russia’s Samara Oil Pumping Station Again

Ukrainian forces have struck a linear oil dispatching station in Prosvet, in Russia’s Samara region, according to Ukraine’s General Staff. The attack marks another strike on Russian energy infrastructure located deep inside the country.

The same facility was targeted on October 7, when the strike destroyed four oil storage tanks and triggered a fire, Ukraine’s General Staff said. Ukraine has repeatedly targeted Russian oil facilities in an effort to weaken the Kremlin’s ability to finance its ongoing war.
