• Разработка городской айдентики для города Сямынь, Китай
Я хотела сделать что-то необычное, поэтому в качестве дипломного проекта выбрала городскую айдентику. Этот город
для исследования был выбран не случайно, так как там прошло несколько лет моего детства. В самом начале я обратилась к своим воспоминаниям и ассоциациям, связанным с этим местом. Начав подробнее изучать город, я убедилась, что мои ассоциации действительно находят подтверждение в его истории и культуре.
В поисках дизайн-решения я поняла, что нельзя ограничиваться одной чертой города. Сямынь разный, у него много
особенностей и граней. Поэтому в процессе работы я выделила четыре ключевые концепции, наиболее полно отражающие его характер: экологичность, смешение архитектурных стилей, океан и технологичность.
На основе этих концепций был создан акцидентный шрифт, объединяющий все ассоциации - как в латинице, так и
в Китайских радикалах, чтобы выразить уникальность города Сямынь.
Следующим этапом стала разработка логотипа и оформление графических элементов. Так появилась система, ставшая айдентикой города. Все элементы айдентики адаптированы для разных носителей в городском пространстве, что позволяет передать облик Сямыня через дизайн, основанный на исследовании и личных ассоциациях.
• Development of a city Identity for Xiamen, China
I wanted to do something special, so I chose city identity as my graduation project. I decided to choose this city for my research because I spent several years of my childhood there.
At the very beginning I referred to my memories and associations related to this city. As I began to research the city in more detail, I realized that my associations were indeed confirmed by its history and culture. In my search for a design solution, I realized that I cannot limit myself to a single characteristic of the city. Xiamen is different, it has many features and faces. Therefore, in the process, I identified four concepts that best reflect its character: eco-friendly, a blend of architectural styles, ocean and technology. Based on these concepts, an accent font was developed that combines all the associations, both in Latin and Chinese radicals, to express the uniqueness of Xiamen. The next stage was the creation of the logo and the development
of the graphic elements. This is how the system that shaped the city’s identity came about. All the elements of the identity are adapted for different media in the city space to convey the identity
of Xiamen through a design based on research and personal associations.
