Former L.A. County sheriff’s deputy Eric Chase Saavedra has been sentenced to 21 months in prison for abusing his law-enforcement access to assist crypto criminal Adam Iza in targeting his enemies.
In one case, Saavedra allegedly helped locate a man believed to have a laptop containing more than $100M in cryptocurrency.
