🔔JUST IN: Japan is bracing for the impact of Typhoon Dolphin, with authorities ordering nearly 260,000 people to evacuate as the powerful storm approaches the region.
More than 500 flights have been cancelled, while heavy rain, violent winds and high waves are expected to disrupt transportation and daily life across affected areas. Officials are urging residents in vulnerable locations to move to safer areas as the risk of flooding, landslides and storm surges increases.
The typhoon is bringing sustained winds of around 144 km/h, with gusts reaching nearly 198 km/h, prompting authorities to maintain a high level of alert as the storm moves closer to Japan.
