The World Cup kicks off in just 3 hours — and with it, our biggest tournament of the season on Fanton. The Grand Final guarantee is $1,500, and everyone has a shot at a piece of that pool. Here's how to make it to the final👇
Step 1. Collect cups🏆
The World Cup group stage is 72 single-match contests: a separate tournament for every match, 5+0 format. You can earn up to 2 cups per single-match contest:
🏆+2 cups — if you finish in the top 20%
🏆+1 cup — for scoring 1,000+ fantasy points in the tournament
Step 2. Trade cups for Grand Final tickets 🎟
Each ticket = one free team in the Playoffs. The more cups you collect — the higher the tier and the more tickets you hold:
• 20 cups → 1 ticket
• 25 cups → 2 tickets
• 30 cups → 3 tickets
• 40 cups → 4 tickets
The tier you reach counts: hit the next milestone — and you move up a level.
Bonus for qualification leaders 🎟
The top players on the fantasy-points leaderboard get extra Grand Final tickets. The ranking is based on each player's 10 best results across the entire qualification:
🥇 1st place → +2 tickets
🥈 2nd place → +1 ticket
Step 3. Fill up the final pool 🪙
Entry into a single-match contest is $5. Every buy-in works in your favor:
• 50% → prize pool of the current tournament
• 35% → Grand Final prize pool
• 15% → Fanton rake
The more people in qualification — the fatter the final pool. The guarantee is $1,500, and it will only grow.
Step 4. Grand Final ⚽️
The Grand Final will be played in the seasonal 7+1 format during the World Cup Playoff stage. The prize zone is 40% of participants. You'll face 6 rounds, with your points accumulating across all of them:
6 rounds:
⚔️ Round of 16 (2 rounds)
⚔️ Round of 8
⚔️ Quarterfinals
⚔️ Semifinals
⚔️ Final (+ third-place match)
