On the night from Thursday to Friday I'd like to go through a beautiful result from databases world, linking ideas from signal processing and abstract algebra with incremental (streaming) computation, showing a way to automatically transform a set of SQL into (sort of) efficient pipeline which maintains results incrementally by consuming a stream of updates to the underlying data model.
