This lecture will focus on functors, exploring their role as morphisms between categories, and natural transformations, which provide a way to transform one functor into another. We will also cover limits and colimits, which generalize notions of products and unions within category theory. Additionally, we will examine adjunctions of functors, pairs of functors in specific relationships, and introduce monads, a powerful concept in both category theory and functional programming.
