Category theory, linear algebra and its applications in functional programming

Category theory, a branch of mathematics, provides a high-level abstraction framework that is both elegant and powerful. It deals with the structures of categories and morphisms, offering a unifying language for mathematics. This lecture will elucidate the significance of category theory in functional programming, however, it will mostly focus on the mathematical aspects of the category theory rather than programming. If you would like to brush up on some math, I will recommend you reading these short notes (notes).
